Remarks & Notes

A westbound stack train climbs the elevated curve towards Highway US 95 near Goffs Hill backdropped by the Dead Mountains. Trains battle a formable grade here of 1.4% making this a treat of both sight and sound. This is a signature photo location in the Mohave Desert during the “Super Fleet” era and I was fortunate to get ideal lighting and subject on my first visit here.
