Station stop: Alna Center. For a brief moment in time, the tiny flag-stop at Alna Center, Maine, becomes a beehive of activity, as a southbound WW&F Mixed train stops to meet company vehicles carrying local dairy products and other freight that are destined either for Wiscasset, or a connection with the standard gauge Maine Central which passes right by the WW&F Yard. Shortly, crews will upload the goods and the train will swiftly resume its journey.
For those who might be wondering, the 1930 Model AA Ford Stake Truck is indeed owned by the WW&F Museum and is a regular participant in photo shoots, such as this January, 2021 Lerro Photography event.
