| A former L&N GP38-2 leads Tullahoma, TN - Widow's Creek, AL turn M780 down Cumberland Mountain and into the final cut at Tantallon. The whines of first generation EMD dynamic brakes could be heard for miles echoing through the mountains before the headend poked around the curve. The local was the last train in a pack of four Southbound trains that were backed up due to a Northbound Q582 stalling out earlier on the steep grade. Just another rainy day on the Chattanooga Sub! |
