Remarks & Notes
Summer Shuttle. A Rockaway Park shuttle train rises up onto the Liberty Avenue Line structure, arriving at its final stop: Rockaway Blvd. The shuttle normally runs between Rockaway Park and Broad Channel, but on weekends during the summer it is extended to Rockaway Blvd to provide better service for beachgoers. Terminating at Rockaway Blvd allows connection to A trains coming from Lefferts Blvd, thus doubling the frequency of connecting service to Brooklyn and Manhattan.
