Tucked away deep in a Mid America Locomotive & Car Repair facility is Valiant Management and Holdings LLC CF7 2584. This engine was rebuilt in the Santa Fe’s Cleburne (TX) shops, rolling out as ATSF 2584 in January 1973. Years later, the Santa Fe sold it to Amtrak, where it became AMTK 594.
