BNSF 127, the former Santa Fe 127, is half of a pair of GP60Ms handling a cut of loaded intermodal well cars in Commerce, although the train is being backed into Hobart Yard in Vernon, roughly 2½ miles away. When delivered to the Santa Fe in 1990, GP60Ms were mainline power for fast intermodal traffic, and thirty years later they are not relegated to yard work and locals.
