Since it is almost Christmas, I thought I would share a couple Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives that Baldwin built. This Decapod, Pennsy 4300 was built around 1922 by Baldwin Locomotive Works, where my great, great Uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., worked as a design engineer. My Dad liked the Pennsy, and rode on passenger trains from Detroit to Philadelphia as a young boy to visit his great Uncle Rob. Uncle Rob would give him some Baldwin locomotive builders cards, and my Dad built up a nice collection over time. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
