The clouds part ways giving us a beautiful afternoon to chase CSX K650-17 (Chicago,IL/CN-Montgomery,AL) as it guide it’s way through empty fields of Old Fort, TN (MP C-359.5 Old Fort). With a major shortage of crews throughout the network, it was decided to profile the Key Train down the Etowah Sub for Atlanta via of the CSX Coal Network due to not having enough rested crews over on the CSX Southeastern Corridor to take the train to Montgomery via of Nashville, Birmingham.
