Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western’s “wayfreight” has switched cars at Coal Creek Junction, North Dakota, on August 28, 2018, and is ready to depart southbound for a trip to Bismarck on the Missouri Valley Subdivision. The train is led by DMV&W No. 6911, a former Canadian National SD40 built in December 1969, since rebuilt and labeled a SD40-3.
