Remarks & Notes
A northbound Delaware and Hudson train blasts out the north end of the Belden Tunnel in July 1987. The lead engine was ex-Reading 3412, and despite having been owned by the D&H for over a decade, it was still wearing Reading green except for a minor stencil job.
