Remarks & Notes
This locomotive rebuilt by the Norfolk Southern Juniata Shops has quite a history. This unit was originally a SD50 built as Conrail 6707 in 1983. It once wore the "We Support Our Troops" yellow ribbon paint scheme during Operation Desert Storm. Downgraded to a SD40E in 2009, NS 6318 spent many days pushing trains around the famous Horseshoe Curve before being placed in yard/local service.
