Five Freeport McMoRan EMD 4-axle units lug a train up the steep (up to 5%) grade of the railroad’s line from the Arizona Eastern’s interchange yard at Clifton to Morenci, Arizona, on October 27, 2020. The three GP38-2s up front are still in the blue, white and red scheme of previous owner of the railroad and mine, Phelps-Dodge.
