Southern Railway and the 1927 Pullman built "Marco Polo" had close ties especially during the time of Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency as FDR would make trips from Washington, D.C. to Warm Springs, Georgia via Atlanta. On November 14, 2020 Norfolk Southern presented the historic car to the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia utilizing the carrier's Southern Railway heritage locomotive, ES44AC NÂș8099. In this scene, 8099 guides the Marco Polo through the SERM grounds during the presentation.
