CNW Alco C628 6723 rests in the roads Escanaba yard waiting for its next job in the summer of 1981. These were former Norfolk and Western units. Alco Built 135 of these units for U.S.A roads and 46 for Mexican roads from 12/63.12/68. There are none left in the U.S.A it is said there are 2 left preserved in Mexico
