Activity on the Roanoke District has been on the decline for many years, especially here at Waynesboro. CP Waynetex is the southern end of a siding that services the massive, now idled Du-Pont facility here. Norfolk Southern makes occasional drop-offs here, mainly for storage. Here, V94 is leaving Waynetex after dropping off two tankers for storage.
