Ancient Snow Fences

Ancient snow/wind fences decay beneath the Sherman Granite in the early Winter‘s light. An eastbound Z train shares a profile with “Great Pink Panther” as the railfans have come to know him; the Rock People of Dale Creek and the surrounding area near Sherman Hill. The stories these withered timber’s could tell of passing Big Boys and great Limiteds lest we not forget about the men that forged this railroad.
