| Electric railcars ABe 4/4 # 46 and # 47 of the Rhaetian Railway in multiple control (built in 1965/1972 and not in regular passenger service anymore) reached Alp Grüm shortly with 3 "Bernina Express" panorama cars. The about 90 passengers of this "full moon special" from the Engadine are enjoying an aperitive below the open sky and later the famous "Gletscherfondue" (Glacier fondue, a hot swiss cheese speciality) in the station restaurant. The train will leave again at 10.30 PM for the Engadine, a wonderful ride through the spectacular winter landscape over the Bernina pass under the full moon, to sounds of classical music! |
