| With a 3pm start time at Waterloo and the winter light, the Oelwein Job treks north at sunset. The train is a couple miles south of Dunkerton as they pass this farmstead with a small 4 car train. This job works all the local customers on this Oelwein Sub that was once old Chicago Great Western Mainline from Oelwein to KC. This trackage was handed down to the UP thru mergers and now has been sold or leased and the Iowa Northern operates it from Waterloo to Oelwein. |
