| With auto racks bound for Flat Rock Yard, this E280 passes the classic Holly Depot on the CN Holly Sub. The train has slowed to crossed the Lake States Railroad here at Holly that is right behind me. This neat depot was built in 1884 replacing the one burned down. The Detroit and Milwaukee Railway built a line from Detroit to Grand Haven thru Holly 1st in 1856, followed by the Flint and Holly Railroad in 1864. Plans are under way to moved this depot. |
