| Last day of the 2020 season on the Furka mountain line. Steamtrain 133 from Realp to Oberwald is near destination. The heavy 0-8-0 T cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704, built by SLM Winterthur in 1923 for the Chemins de fer de l'Indochine (Indochina railway in the french colonies) is pulling the train. In 1990, this locomotive was brought back from Vietnam to Switzerland more or less as scrap and she is operational like new since 2018. |
