Conrail 9949 leads the Sangerfield Local up Schuyler Street in Utica, NY, with head brakeman Eddie Luther leaning out of the cab. The old McQuade & Banningan spur line, along with milepost 285, ( both now long gone ) can be seen to the right of the train.
