Remarks & Notes

Soo Line SD40B 6450 at the St. Paul Diesel House January 1991. The 6450 was built as Burlington Northern 6302 in October 1971 and later renumbered to BN 7600. After a wreck in 1981, the BN rebuilt this unit as a B unit without a cab and moved the dynamic brake housing to where the cab was located. The Soo Line picked up this B unit in June 1987 and retired it in June 2002. Unknown Photographer Photo from my Collection.
