Above Rigi Staffel, with the city of Lucerne and the Lake with the same name (in german:Vierwaldstättersee), the train 153 from Arth Goldau and the train 1139 from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm are running parallel up the mountain (departure time from Staffel is exactly the same). Cogwheel snowblower locomotive He 2/3 # 8, built 1930 by SLM and MFO for the Arth-Rigi-Bahn, is shoving cars B # 32 and B # 11 "Bambus. Locomotive He 2/2 # 18, built in 1938 by SLM and BBC for the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn, is shoving cars B # 8 and B # 16. An extremly rare sight, because this locomotives are not in passenger service usually.
