BNSF 7431, two additional motors on the point and a single DPU on the rear are doing all they can to lug a massive Galesburg, IL to Barstow, CA manifest upgrade at Siberia on a hot, summer afternoon. Those will sharp eyes will notice three additional cars behind the DPU that are actually ex-Santa Fe passenger cars. While they might still be wearing their former owner's (Amtrak) paint, the cars are traveling to their new home in Los Angeles where they will join the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society's famed Santa Fe 3751.
