Saturday Service. Once only six days a week, the R&N’s NRFF (North Reading Fast Freight, North Reading, PA-Pittston, PA), now operates on Saturday as well. On the afternoon of Saturday, August 15, 2020, it crosses the new bridge across the Lehigh River in Coalport, PA, which more easily enables the train to continue on the R&N main line with SD40-2s 3051 and 3057 powering the consist. Previously this daily move required the power to run around the train in Jim Thorpe, PA.
