Remarks & Notes
CSX GP16 #4645, in pristine Seaboard System paint scheme, has worked to the end of the branch at Elba, AL and is returning to the junction at Waterford, AL. The depot, now a museum, was replaced by a small block building just west of here. #4645 was built September 1956 as Seaboard Air Line GP9 #1925 and later became Seaboard Coast Line #1024. Unit was rebuilt as a GP16 in November 1982 and later became CSX #1745. Unit was retired from CSX roster 6/25/1992 and became R. J. Corman (RJCR) #1745 and later Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway (ACWR) #1601
