| A 1954 classic! The former Milwaukee Road 2048, now operating for Metra as the NIRC 3, makes its way off the St. Charles Air Line and onto the Rock Island District at 16th Street. Its train of three cars is bound for the 47th Street shops, where the cars will undergo maintenance. 16th Street Tower can be seen in the distance. |
