I would say to take your pick, but I'm not so sure that's possible in this situation. When it comes to this mass gathering of locomotives from many different railroads, some have futures and some don't have a candle's chance in a cyclone. When in the area, it's always worth a visit to the NRE's facility in Silvis. The amount of cool stuff here is eye opening! NREX was about to begin a big sale to a private contractor at this time. As we fast forward to today, there's a good chance that many of these units have met the scrapper's torch.
