Due to track work by Union Pacific, the Amtrak California Zephyr operated as Train 1105 (instead of Train 5, P42DC AMTK 4 leading) on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, with its departure from Denver, Colorado pushed back to 10:05 AM. A moderately cloudy day shows no shadows from the adjoining buildings at Denver Union Station. The current station building opened in 1914, but a major renovation in 2014 recreated the scene to its current state.
