One of the great pre-war railway photographs - LNER class A4 4-6-2 No 4467 Wild Swan and A3 4-6-2 4480 Enterprise leave the Gas Works Tunnel just after departing from Kings Cross neck and neck with the 4pm down 'Coronation' and 4pm Leeds Central express in July 1938. Photo by the late George R. Grigs taken on quarter plate film.
