New doubledeck intercity with maximum velocity of 200 km/h, ER 1 701 # 025 from StadlerRail for the swedish AB Transitio, on a test run on the Thurtal mainline between Sulgen and Erlen. This trains were ordered for service of Mälab (Mälardalstrafik AB) under the brand "Mälartåg". Transitio ordered 33 of this 200 km/h trains from Stadler Rail in 2016 for the lines Örebro – Eskilstuna – Stockholm – Uppsala (Svealandsbanan), Hallsberg – Katrineholm – Stockholm (Sörmlandspilen), Norrköping – Nyköping – Stockholm (Nyköpingsbanan), and Sala – Västeras – Eskilstuna – Katrineholm – Linköping (Uven). In the meantime, there were ordered 20 more trains.
