Remarks & Notes
This is the area where NBS comes into Brownville Junction. They have a crew change building and an area where Pleasant River Lumber loads chip cars and 2 tracks where the 2 daily trains one from St. John New Brunswick and one from Oakfield Maine can park their diesels. The train from Oakfield is on a line owned by the State of Maine but is operated under contract by NBS and the railroad is named Maine Northern Railway.
