Between 1984 and 1988 the Cape Cod & Hyannis RR operated seasonal passenger service between a Boston subway connection at Braintree and Hyannis. On the first day of service, ex-NH GP9 eases the southbound train onto the Cape Cod Canal lift bridge at Buzzards Bay, MA.
