Mass Coastal Railroad's FL9s bracket the "Canal Excursion" train as they depart Buzzards Bay for points south crossing the trains namesake, the Cape Cod Canal on the Army Corps of Engineers massive lift bridge. At the time of its construction in 1935, it was the longest vertical lift bridge in the world.
