Remarks & Notes
Paris Saint Lazare 1974

On a December 1974 evening, the Paris St Lazare station displayed trains of the time that are all gone today:
- Stainless steel commuter trains called “RIB” (Rames Inox Banlieue) built between 1960 and 1976 by Carel Fouché
- A1A-A1A 68000 diesels built between 1963 and 1968 by CAFL, CEM and Fives-Lille
- ETG turbotrain built 1970-72 by ANF, MTE and Turboméca
- “Saucisson” (sausage) passenger cars built 1936-39 by Entreprises Industrielles Charentaises (EIC)
- Ouest metalized cars: old ex-ETAT passenger cars that were initially built with a metal frame and a wooden carboby and modernized with a metal carbody after WWII
- Steam-heated trains
