Remarks & Notes
After crossing Cajon Pass, BNSF train D-BARLAC3-11 rolls downgrade through Ono and into San Bernardino. This light engine movement originated in Barstow and is heading to Los Angeles, where there are, apparently, a few eastbound trains waiting for power. The eleven BNSF engines in this string are ES44C4 6913, Dash 9-44CW 4001, ES44DC 7538, ES44C4 3267, ES44C4 3257, ES44AC 6330, ES44DC 7786, SD70ACe 9178, ES44C4 7113, ES44C4 7947 and ES44AC 6299. Even with no cars behind them, it was an impressive display of 48,000 horsepower! (San Bernardino, California – June 11, 2020)
