On a cool June morning TVRM's Missionary Ridge Local train Nº 100 emerges out of out of the shadows as the engineer crack open the throttle even more on the famous 2-8-2 SR Nº 4501 taking the four cars deadhead move eastbound for Grand Junction for the 9:30am trip. As part of the first phase of reopening due to Covid-19 the Tennessee Valley Railroad would have to follow the CDC, and State guidelines, and social distancing is now just as important, as safety around the railroad to not only protect the paid employees, and volunteer, but also the paid passenger that's enjoying a ride back into history.
