A pair of Wisconsin Central switch engines compare cabs at Shops Yard, located in North Fond du Lac, WI. The SW1500 in the foreground in no. 1556, a former SP unit. It could stand a repaint at this point, while the older SW1200 looked pretty fresh. It was typical at this time to use pairs of EMD SW1500s and/or SW1200s for heavy classification work in the yard.
