Fiery skies glow overhead as the east end Eastbound Yard job idles on one of the switching leads at Russell waiting on a switching signal to come in. A line of tornadic thunderstorms formed from the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal have knocked out power to thousands of residents in the region, as well as most of the facilities at Russell Yard, including the yardmaster radios, the Big Four yard office, and the signal bridge at RU Cabin.
