"Stammnetzpendel" (push-pull train for the main network) of the Rhaetian Railway, with railcar Be 4/4 # 513, second class car B # 2413 and two cab cars ABDt # 1713 and # 1716, is crossing the new Hinterrhein bridge at Reichenau-Tamins, running as S 1 service 1519 from Schiers via Landquart-Chur to Rhäzüns. When built in 1971 already, this timeless elegant commuter trains were Switzerland's first series-produced traction units with infinitely variable electronic power control (phase-angle control using thyristors). Because of a shortage of approriate second class intermediate cars for this trains, the train is formed with two cab cars ABDt of the same type, one as substitute for a second class car.
