Remarks & Notes |
The Interregio 1136 of the Rhaetian Railway from St.Moritz to Chur via the Albula is crossing the about 200 meter long new steel/concrete bridge "Sora Giuvna" (younger sister in the romansh language) over the Hinterrhein and the highway A 13 at Reichenau-Tamins. This is a ALVRA trainset with a leading cab car At and locomotive Ge 4/4 III # 644 "Savognin" shoving in the rear. Just behind is the old, but renovated and reinforced 152 meter long truss railway bridge from 1895. Third bridge on the right is a truss road bridge over the Rhine from 1881, which is the oldest iron truss bridge of the canton Grisons. The Reichenau castle in the background dates from the 18th century. |
