A BNSF Railway local lays over for the evening at the former Frisco 19th Street Yard in Kansas City’s West Bottoms District. Both diesels were constructed by EMD for the Santa Fe - GP50 3205 is the former Santa Fe 3852, and GP39-2 2794 is ex-ATSF 3620 … and before that ATSF 3620, and before that ATSF 3120, and before that ATSF 3620, and before that ATSF 3425 … Whew!
