The sounds of rushing waters and birds chirping is interrupted by the sounds of howling dynamics and squalling breaks as loaded train N319-25 has the brakes drawn down and it's motors in full dynamics as the heavy coal bucket cruises down the steep 4.5 mile long 1.9% Cumberland Mountain grade. This is the largest of the many cuts between Cowan Tunnel and Tantallion on the Chattanooga Sub. Miles from any civilization, this is social distancing at its finest.
