An intermodal train consisting of primarily single-stack containers is somewhat unusual in southern California, as is this train’s symbol: S-BARSCO3-08. Led by ES44DC 7324 and Dash 9-44CW 4173, with rare (for the BNSF in southern California) SD70ACe 8777 as the DPU on the rear, this is the first Barstow to Long Beach intermodal train that I have ever seen.
