| After Welch we drove east back to Keystone to catch NS #9275 hauling an empty grain train past an abandoned coal processing plant in Keystone, WV. There are literally dozens of coal plants like this dotting this area, a sign of the downturn and fall of the coal industry that was once vital to this area. Notice the coal cart hauling system going up the mountain in the background. |
