Remarks & Notes

A westbound Southern Pacific taconite ore train headed for Geneva Steel is working through the curves at Kyune, Utah, while climbing over Soldier Summit on September 8, 1995. Powering the train up front is a trio of GE locomotives—AC4400CW Nos. 352 and 349, and C44-9W No. 8157. Pushing on the rear of the train is three EMD SD40T-2 Tunnel Motors from Helper.
