Remarks & Notes
Babysitting the beast. The shadowy figure of Clover Valley Lumber Co. #4's engineer wades through a bath of steam from the open cylinder cocks, as he oils around his locomotive in anticipation of it's westbound run back to the yards at Brightside. Shot taken at the Sunol Depot on California's Niles Canyon Railway, with a hand-held Nikon Z6, which is rapidly becoming my go-to camera for low-light shooting. Lighting by Lerro Productions.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
