A Southern Pacific local, heading east on Santa Ana Street in Anaheim, California, has come to an abrupt stop as it went into "emergency." The unscheduled stop will not take long before the train is underway once again and, fortunately, traffic is light on this July 24, 1975, morning. SP SD9 3943 is the former SP 5469, built by EMD in February 1956.
