A pair of Union Pacific EMD SD70Ms grind away while pulling a heavy train loaded with ballast eastbound through Agate, Colorado, on the morning of October 20, 2013. Apparently as of mid-April 2020, the Kansas Pacific is no longer a through route, with unused autoracks in storage on the main line between Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, and Sharons Springs, Kansas.
