| High up in the clouds of an approaching storm, Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 No. 4014 and Union Pacific 4-8-4 No. 844 stop at the summit of Sherman Hill,Wyoming. At 8015 feet Sherman is the Highest point on the Transcontinental Railroad. The last time a 4-8-8-4 crested the Summit of Sherman Hill was in 1959. An amazing project brought to life by a dedicated crew of talented people. |
